This episode of Dardashe was an invitation to think together about desire, sex, and power in a safe space where difficult questions could be spoken out loud. We began with Leila Slimani’s Sex & Lies as a starting point to unpack how bodies and intimacy function as social and political tools. Through tea and shared reflections, we explored provocation, censorship, virginity as a construct, and the tension between desire, guilt, pleasure, and religion. As always, Dardashe became a space for holding complexity with care, choosing thoughtful dialogue over easy answers.
