This year’s theme was “VIAVAI VAIVIA – Mobility, Residence, Confinements,” and we were invited to bring our work and vision as Dardashe in diaspora into it through the world of Tatreez, the art of Palestinian embroidery.

Tatreez is more than stitching — it is a gesture of connection. As Palestinians in the diaspora, we use embroidery to stay connected to Palestine while building community in Italy, inhabiting two worlds and tying them together through a single thread.
